New Melville resident, Marilyn Chopiuk, is Melville’s first ever Bed and Breakfast owner. “Lotters Landing” is now the place to go for out-of-towners to have a quiet and relaxing night in a cozy and tranquil environment. The newly furnished house can occupy a maximum of six guests in her three guest rooms. Two rooms have one queen sized bed and the other room has two 48 inch beds. Marilyn moved to Melville after her fiancé accepted a work position here. It was also her fiancé who helped influence her to start up this business as he is from South Africa where Bed and Breakfasts are very common and popular. Also, the City of Melville seemed like the perfect community to start up this business, as well as her new life. Marilyn has been in the process of renovating her house and establishing a business plan for the past several months.
